Create Your Own Sunshine

Here's a really quick and easy shaker card!!  For this card, I used a sentiment from Virginia Turtle Stamps freebie stamp set, and a 3d sun from the Silhouette Store.

I cut the sun using the instructions on the image page.  Then I stamped and foiled the sentiment, and using my Gina Marie die, cut a rectangle using the cross-stitch die.  I filled the center of the sun with Lemonade Mix sequins fromVirginia Turtle, which is now a retired product.

To me, this sentiment has a lot of meaning!  If you don't create your own sunshine, no one will do it for you!!!

Have a crafty and sunny day!!

Sea Therapy

Happy Mother's Day!!!  Today I am sharing a card I created using stamps from, and card borders from

To begin this card, I stamped and fussy cut a seahorse, seaweed, and coral.  For the seahorse, I used several colors of Tim Holtz Distress ink, and then covered the whole seahorse in Clear Rock Candy Distress Paint.  This paint is awesome!  As it dries, it actually starts to crack some here and there!!

The two borders at the bottom were cut using the Delight card border set from  I must say, that I am kinda obsessed with Kiwi Lane's borders!!  I use them a lot on my scrapbook pages, and just recently started using them on my cards.

The sentiment is from a Julie Nutting stamp set, which I embossed with Gold embossing powder.  I then cut the sentiment using a Gina Marie Round Cross stitch die!!

Hope you enjoy my little taste of the Sea!!

Hydrangea Tray

Well it is Friday and today I am excited to share with you my Mother's day gift.  Using the Hydrangea file from Dreaming tree I was able to make this beautiful tray

Each flower has 30 pieces.  I inked all the edges, added marker marks and finished with spritzing with gold shimmer spray

then on a half styrofoam ball painted green using pearl top pins place the flowers and pinche and form as needed

Then I made the pots and then glued the ball on to the tops This file is so versatile for any theme, colour etc ... the file does come with MOM or MUM as well as blanks   I can't wait to make one for christmas

Hope you enjoyed this as mush as I did making it

The file can be found here

and is called Love you Mom bundle  Also comes with a mailbox card, and a gift box   all for $6.99 great deal for this fun file

Till next time Peace and happy crafting

Clean-Up Time!!

It's been a while since I have posted. I've been under the weather :(

But I am back to share a cutie patootie tag I created using the Clean Up Kids file from Scrappy Dew Creations!!!  I used sea glass colors for my girls clothes, put some Ranger Glossy Accents on the "Windex" bottle, and used Scrappy Dew's facial stamps for her face!!

The area in which I live had an over abundant amount of pollen!  So I will be attaching this tag to a bucket full of window cleaning supplies for my neighbor!!

Thanks for looking, and have a wonderful weekend!!  Also, Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!!!
